Vantage Points

van·tage
/ˈvantij/
Noun
A place or position affording a good view of something.

I am caring for my friend’s cat (Scout) this week and my morning routine takes me to another part of the city. Today as I left her apartment in morning sunshine (a rare sighting in Burlington for the last week) I saw the steeple of the Unitarian Church. It reminded me that during these busy days of family, community and creative life that sometimes a different perspective is greatly needed to shift some long-held narratives. We are in charge of seeking different vantage points in our lives…and it can be quite rewarding.

  1. I love the structural piece that’s connected to the Post Office. Vantage points, good point. Sometimes it’s better to look and leave. Sometimes your lens is scratched.
