What I loved in Florence.

ON TRAVELING: There are those travelers that know exactly what they want to see and do. They have read the guides and studied the maps and hit the pavement with a plan. Me. Not so much. I need to experience the way a place feels. I get so overwhelmed with the big stuff that I need to break it down into smaller, quieter moments. Here are some of my favorite small moments. I hope you don’t get sick of Italy this week. There are a lot of small moments to share. CIAO

  1. Surely you re-arranged the mirror on the motorbike, ’cause I can’t imagine how it would be useful to the driver in that position! Those look like dandy shoes to me, Ellis!

  2. Maggie Pace – Burlington, VT – I'm a designer and author of two books on felted knits. Each week I develop new projects in knitting, sewing, embroidery, and surface design and post them here on my blog.

Impossible to get sick of “small moments” in Florence. I want to see every one!
