Happiness

International Day of Happiness

Today is the United Nation’s second International Day of Happiness. The UN wants us to remember that it’s friends and family that actually make us happy, not cars and handbags. And then to share what makes us really happy with everyone else.

Cool opportunity to upload your own images of happiness today.

Truer words were never spoken, although a new handbag does give me a lift. 🙂

I know, I actually collect handbags (most from thrift shops) and make them all the time. I am writing and researching a lot lately along these lines. I am willing to cull my collection and I think lightening my load of bags would actually make me happier.

Yes, I know what you mean. I feel oppressed by stuff. Too much stuff, not enough wide open space. I goodwill stuff all the time. Always have a bad ready to cart away.
