my neighborhood at night

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I walked out my back door on this perfect summer (almost) night. I wanted some other shots that were closer to doors and lights, but I didn’t want my neighbors to get creeped out. I could hear voices and silverware clinking and music and dogs barking in the distance (not our neighborhood dogs-they are exceptionally well-behaved). It was pretty magical actually. I hope you enjoy the photos. Goodnight.

  1. Bob went out for a walk about 11:00 to overlook this deep gully area he discovered a few years ago where he saw “scores” of lightning bugs! I have a feeling he’ll be doing that quite a bit this coming week.

Oh, I want to photograph lightning bugs. I bet Bob found an amazing spot.

These shots have come up really well and are quite evocative, one can almost ‘feel’ that summer breeze.B.

Thank you for checking the photos out. Today, I get repaired sewing machines back from the shop. I think my posts will be something else entirely soon. Have a good day!
