I spent an inordinate amount of time on this bag.  I’m thrilled that it turned out looking like a museum piece. It’s has structural integrity, but it looks like it should be handled with white gloves.  I think Frida Kahlo might’ve actually carried this.  I’m not sure which of my models for STRUT will be carrying this bag because it works with all four looks. I could do this type of design for days and neither need rest or nourishment.  I love when I’m in “flow” in my studio.  It’s a rare and unbelievably fulfilling time as an artist.

    • “Clutch” is so apt, because I would! I would clutch it to me, I would caress it, and smell it, rub it against my face…hell, I might even taste it, just to satisfy every curious sense. Beautiful. Loved hearing how it came to be, and what you put into it. This is why I must have art and the company of artists in my life. You asked me if I’m an artist? I CAN’T be, because everyone says they are, and I don’t take words like that lightly. But I am a stellar APPRECIATOR, I know that for sure. Oh, yes, Frida would have loved it.
PS– I told you my cats’ names, but I don’t think I told you my newest kitten is FRIDA KATERINA. (And she really has a look of Frida about her!)

    • I love Frida Katerina. Beautiful.

You are an artist. You can keep claiming it isn’t so, but I’ve seen it. If you hide from it, it will haunt you. Please read: The Crossroads of Should and MUST by Ella Luna.

Lovely to meet you. Enjoy the beauty of this season.
