Amsterdam/street photography

I love street photography.  The raw moment when something sparks me.  Be sure to scroll down and check out the pigeon slideshow.  My daughter Willa had an interesting encounter near the royal palace.

  1. Love the photograph with “Fillipa K” above the crowded street.
These are really good Lisa. Creating things is such a gift and balances the mind lovingly.

    • I wish I could have shot this guy more. I have to be discreet and I’m a chicken to ask people if I can photograph them. I always end up way to deep with these sort of characters and talking too long. Yes, I indeed needed to balance my mind lovingly. I like the way you phrase that. Thank you.

  2. Wonderful, Lisa! These photos make me feel like I was there. I especially like the guy with the flowers and the american hotdogs juxtaposed against the dutch buildings. you have an amazing eye, my friend.

  3. Thanks Maggie. Everyone walked around Amsterdam was carrying flowers—walking, on bikes and mopeds. I saw this guys and I turned on my heels. Jeff, Lucy and Willa instantly knew what I was doing. That was a pretty cool moment.
