4th of July 2017—Sandwich, Mass

The Sandwich 4th of July celebration is always a special event, but 2017 had some extra magic.  It was a truly grand day from start to finish.

  1. Nothing beats a New England 4th of July! Nothing!! The sense of history, geography and the significance of past space/time is so palpable….revolutionary! Small town parades are an definitely an experience of there own. It has been a long time since my early days living in Buzzards Bay/Bourne. I faintly recall the Town of Sandwich.
Glad you were able to celebrate there! I remember watching fireworks over the canal near the Bourne Bridge. I need to get back to Maine this year, maybe in the Fall.
The close I got this year was watching Disney’s Johnny Tremain.
    Days of Future Past…
