life is not so black & white..

it’s mostly shades of complex grey and every once in a while when we use our vision, there are brilliant pops of color that truly delight and help us see other perspectives.

  1. I love this post, Lisa. It reminds me of a Nova(?) episode I saw a million years ago that tried to illustrate how animals’ vision works. I think it was the cats that only see color in objects that are close to them – the brightly colored ball emerged from grey as they moved through the grass toward it. At least that’s what scientists thought a million years ago.

Hope you and yours are doing well. xoxo

    • Lisa Lillibridge/Dakota 1966 – I grew up roaming and scavenging the plains of southern South Dakota. That childhood landscape instilled a desire for spaciousness that's stayed with me into adulthood. My work often reflects these themes.
