law of diminishing returns

Lillibridge diminishing return

law of diminishing returns
n.
The tendency for a continuing application of effort or skill toward a particular project or goal to decline in effectiveness after a certain level of result has been achieved.

This week was fun, interesting, creative, exhausting and so much more. This image is a result of layering a lot of the images of my week. As I get older I am well aware of the law of diminishing returns. Sometimes we’re moving through space so quickly that we forget the last interesting event or conversation that we were a part of. In this season of hustle bustle and trying to fit a lot in—take a breath, find a pause in your work to just reflect a little on your experiences and what truly needs your attention. My hunch, and I’m guilty of this too is that someone you love could use some undivided attention right now more than the You Tube top rated video.
