I happened upon this photograph from Aaron J. Groen this afternoon. I am missing the vastness of the prairie and in doing a search for South Dakota art I found loads of interesting work. I found this just stunning and mysterious. It reminds me of the rural church I visited with my dear Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Leonard. There is something about our internal geography that just can’t be escaped.
