Thank you, Martha Stewart.

Drooping Roses

Lillibridge, Ranuculus

Cut to look like Ranuculus

Years ago while reading a Martha Stewart magazine at my dentist’s office I learned this trick. When roses start to droop and turn brown—cut them and they will look like my very favorite flower-Ranuculus. Now, I don’t even fear the cheap “day old” roses at the grocery store. I know I can just snip the top and transform them. Aren’t they lovely. Have a restorative Sunday!
