I was thinking this morning about what I’m often willing to put off until I am: better prepared, thinner, rested, educated, mentored…you name it. What if a formal invitation arrived in the mail to do some of the things I want to accomplish in my lifetime?
I know the invitation is pretty absurd. What are we waiting for though?
Maybe a formal nudge from the Universe is what’s needed now?
I always find that when I am in the mood to clean and sort my studio and it brings me joy instead of dread that it’s good for me creatively. It means that I am making room for new possibilities. A little extra real estate. A clean surface with a sketch book and pencil on it just makes me swoon. I don’t know exactly what is coming next, but 5 bags of garbage and 2 bags of recycling out the door is a great way to start a new year.
